Standing a laptop on its edge gives back most of a desk. This dock holds two machines side by side and the slot width is set by hand with quick-release screws, so a thin notebook and a thicker one can share it without hunting for a hex key.
The body is 3 mm aluminium alloy with high-grade silicone lining every contact face, which keeps the finish of the lid clear of scratches and stops the stand sliding across the desk.
