Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Onegame does with personal information collected through onegameai.com — what we hold, why we hold it, who else sees it and how you get it removed. It applies to visitors to the site and to anyone who places an order with us.

1. Information you give us

• Contact details: your name, email address, telephone number, and the shipping and billing addresses attached to an order.
• Order details: what you bought, when, the order history on your account, and the messages you send to customer support.
• Anything you choose to add: a delivery note, a photograph attached to a return request, an answer to a question we asked.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most online stores, our site records technical information as you browse: IP address, browser and device type, device identifiers, the pages viewed, the site that referred you and the time of each request. This is used to keep the store working, to spot abuse, and to understand which parts of the catalogue people actually use.

3. Payment information

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments under PCI-DSS standards. Card numbers and payment credentials are handled directly by that processor and are never stored on our servers. What reaches us is the confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the billing address needed to match the order.

4. Why we process it

• To take, pack, ship, track and invoice your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
• To answer your questions and keep a record of the conversation so the next reply makes sense.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent orders and unauthorised access.
• To maintain and improve the site, the catalogue and the checkout.
• To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
• To send marketing email, but only where you have asked for it; every such message carries an unsubscribe link.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and comparable storage to keep a basket between pages, remember preferences and measure traffic in aggregate. Your browser settings control which cookies are accepted or cleared; blocking them all will break parts of the checkout, which is a limitation of how carts work rather than a choice on our side.

6. Who else sees your data

Personal information is shared only with the third parties needed to run the shop, and only with the part of the data each one needs:

• The e-commerce platform that hosts the storefront and the order records.
• Our payment processor, to authorise and settle transactions.
• Shipping carriers, to deliver the parcel and provide tracking.
• Analytics and infrastructure providers, to keep the site running and measure its performance.

We may also disclose information where the law, a regulator or a valid legal process requires it, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, our property or the safety of other people. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

7. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Support correspondence is kept while it is useful for handling a dispute or a warranty question. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent, and for a short period afterwards so the withdrawal itself can be evidenced. When data has outlived all of those purposes it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to a store of this size: SSL/TLS encryption on everything moving between your browser and our servers, restricted access to order data, and processors chosen for their own security practices. No system on the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection, only that we take it seriously and act quickly when something looks wrong.

9. Your rights and choices

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
• Have inaccurate details corrected.
• Have your information deleted, where no legal duty requires us to keep it.
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time, from any message or by writing to us.

Send any of these requests to support@onegameai.com. We may ask you to confirm the email address or the order number attached to the record, so that we do not hand one person's data to another.

10. California residents (CCPA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you additional rights:

• Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you, and the categories of third parties it was shared with.
• Right to delete that information, subject to the legal exceptions that let us keep transaction records.
• Right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information; if that ever changed, a clear opt-out would be published here first.
• Right to non-discrimination — exercising any of these rights will never affect the price you pay or the service you receive.

11. Children

This store is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age, in line with COPPA. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and the record will be deleted promptly.

12. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes are worth re-reading; continued use of the site after an update means the current version applies to you.
